CHARLIE'S STORY

AN UNEXPECTED START

Charlie ran an ad in the local newspaper offering "Pick Your Own Tomatoes $5 bucket" after an abundant tomato crop in the 90s. Thus, after an overwhelmingly positive response, Charlie's U-Pik took root in what it is today.

After the first year, Charlie managed the U-Pik farm every summer, which is where the name "Charlie's U-Pik" originated.

With a bright smile and a cup of coffee, he made everyone feel like a friend, even if they had arrived as strangers.

Charlie was actively involved in the U-Pik until he passed away in 2018. We continue to operate our U-Pik farm with the same passion and dedication as Charlie.
