2009 Crop Update
July 20th - We have closed the fields for 2009.  Thank you for a great season and we hope to see you in 2010.  Tell your family and friends about us so they'll be ready for the 2010 season.
July 7th - Well Mr. Charlie has decided there's enough left in the field to stay open a few more days.  The recent rains have revived the fields enough to stay open to Saturday, July 18th.  We'll have tomatoes, peas, and okra for you to pick.  There is a good supply of okra now.  We also have a good supply of tomatoes already picked for you.  So take advantage of these extra days and get your last taste of summer before it is too late!

We still have those delicious watermelons and cantaloupes for you to purchase also.

June 29th - The last day has been set for July 4th at noon.  Until then you can pick slicing and roma tomatoes, bell pepper, specialty pepper, peas, and eggplant.  You can pick okra on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week.  We expect to have cantaloupe and watermelon the remainder of the week also.

We no longer have sweet corn, snap beans pole beans, speckled & green butter beans, slicing & pickling cucumbers, onions, squash, zucchini and red potatoes.

Thank you to all of you who have visited us this year.  We hope you were pleased and will tell your family and friends about us.

June 22nd - It hot here but we still have lots of tomatoes for you to pick.  We also have pole beans, speckled butter beans, green butter beans, eggplant, bell pepper, specialty peppers, bi-color sweet corn, and roma tomatoes.  The okra is ready, but can only be picked on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Due to the extreme heat, we expect to close the fields a few days earlier this year.  In years past we have been open until mid-July but do not expect to this year.  However, it is still too soon to set the last date yet.
